Get to know Python Summit

Python Summit is first and foremost one of the few conferences in Poland fully dedicated to the Python language, prepared by people who have been specializing in this area for years - the PyData and PyWaw communities. A lot of interesting and valuable speeches, production-based case studies and practical knowledge unavailable anywhere else. An accompanying event is Python Expo - a job fair, products and services related to the conference theme.

FAQ

What determines the form of my speech - stationary, online live or VoD?The selection of the format is ultimately decided by the Program Council when setting the Agenda, respecting, of course, the speaker's preferences indicated in the Call for Papers form. However, we cannot guarantee the possibility of appearing in the format indicated in the form, because we are forced to take into account other factors influencing this decision, such as, for example, assigning the presentation to the path, time constraints and others.
What is the preferred speech format? The speeches are held in 3 formats - stationary, online live and VoD. Stationary and online are conducted live. VoD are pre-prepared recordings made available on the official platform of the event for its participants. This hybrid event format was developed by us based on numerous conferences we organized. Our experience shows that all 3 formats are very popular, and participants particularly appreciate VoD presentations, which they can watch at any time convenient for them.
Are there preferred paths? There is no such thing as a "preferred path". We are looking for speakers and interesting topics for each track
Will my topic fit into the theme of the conference? The thematic range of our conferences is always very wide. The speeches are divided into individual thematic paths and we are looking for appropriate topics for them. If the presentation fits into the theme of the path, it fits into the theme of the entire conference.
